One of the best tips to maintain proper levels of fats and cholesterol is to grill, steam or bake the dish rather than roasting or frying it. Secondly, as minimal as possible amounts of oil and butter should be used for dressing or cooking. Fruits and vegetables should be eaten in raw form, if possible, to gain all the essential fibres.
